I wanted to share my experience with your practice, which has been a very good one.

I had been wearing some older (purchased in 1998) Siemens Prisma BTE ear mold digital programmable hearing aids. They still worked Ok, but I wanted to try some new ones to see how much the technology had advanced in 8 years. I have hearing loss mainly in the high frequencies, (the audiogram is about 40db at 1k and drops to about 70db at 2k to 8k). Ron Fit and programmed the instruments according to my hearing test.

First, the open fit is a definite improvement over the ear molds I had been using. It really does let the sound come through more clearly and atheistically is less noticeable to others that I am wearing the aids, minor issue for me, but a nice improvement. Also, I do not need to get a impression made and order ear molds and then get them further fit to my ears, a real convenience not to have to do this.

I am able to hear my 4 year old grand-twins probably almost as well as their mother. This is the good news, technology really has improved. This was the result with the aids programmed by Ron with no fine tuning. This was not possible with the aids I purchased 8 years ago, they really needed to (be) fine tuned to work well.

I am very happy with Ron, he has been responsive to my questions and concerns with straight, honest information, unusual these days, and the purchase experience has gone very well.
